Read about some of the students from Triple Care Farm and how they turned their lives around.
We first met Jace when he was a homeless young man living in a men’s shelter. He carried everything he owned in his backpack. Each night, Jace would queue outside the shelter hoping to get a meal and a bed for the night. If he arrived too late, he would spend the night riding trains – just trying to keep warm and dry. He felt hopeless and had begun to think suicide was the only way out of his miserable existence.
Cheryl, now in her late teens, could have easily become another ‘statistic’. But luckily, she found Triple Care Farm just in time. Cheryl arrived in a desperate state – drug dependent, a failed suicide attempt behind her, jobless and in debt. Her life was ruled by drugs and she had hit rock bottom. She spent all of her time with her drug dealer and rarely made any time for her parents.
