Andrew Lock OAM

Welcome to the Sir David Martin Foundation Blog. Our General Manager posts regular updates, and we invite occasional guest bloggers, such as our Ambassadors.

Andrew Lock OAM is an Ambassador to Sir David Martin Foundation. Andrew is Australia’s most accomplished high altitude mountaineer. His travels have seen him lead successful expeditions to Heard Island, Central Asia, South America, Mount Everest and remote areas across the globe. Andrew has used his achievements to inspire others to pursue their personal best and reach the summit! Each year at our Abseil for Youth event, he reminds abseilers that their fear is momentary in comparison to that of the young people in our programs, who must be brave each day as they rebuild their lives.
