We welcome opportunities to partner with businesses or companies. Partnerships are meaningful for both parties and create opportunities for support and engagement for all involved.

A partnership with Sir David Martin Foundation can benefit both your company and the young people we support. We can work with your company, particularly if you are looking for a meaningful and ongoing project to fund, that shows real and positive outcomes for young people affected by addiction, abuse, mental illness and homelessness. A partnership with us can help bring change to the community in which you operate and invest in helping our youth and our future.

You can support our activities in line with your business objectives and goals in a number of ways including, but not limited to;

Workplace Giving and Company-Matched Giving
Workplace giving is a simple, effective way for employees to regularly donate to SDMF through optional, automated payroll deductions from their pre-tax salary. It provides long-term, stable funding for our youth programs with little or no administrative costs, enabling more of the funds to be put where they are needed most.

Company Matched Giving is the opportunity for the Employer to support their employees and their efforts to support a cause they are passionate about. Matched Giving is where the company dollar-matches staff workplace giving and or other fundraising activities throughout the year.
Staff Fundraising and Events
Staff can nominate workplace fundraising activities or events throughout the year to support SDMF. These might include office bake sales, morning teas, trivia nights, and fun runs.

Businesses and companies might consider entering a staff team into one of SDMF's challenge events, like the Abseil for Youth. Alternatively, a staff team entered into major Sydney events like the City2Surf or the Sydney Running Festival could nominate SDMF as their beneficiary.

Staff should also speak to their employer about dollar-matching their fundraising efforts from these and activities!
Corporate Volunteering
Corporate Volunteering is great way to do some team building and make a difference at the same time! Corporate volunteering gives you the opportunity to strengthen your team by providing out-of-the-office experiences and challenges. We can provide corporates the opportunity for their staff to work alongside our youth program support staff in both skilled and unskilled roles.

Please be aware that corporate volunteering opportunities are in high demand and unfortunately we are unable to meet every request.
Cause-Related Marketing
Cause Related Marketing (CRM) is an opportunity to raise money for SDMF through aligning your brand and/or a product with SDMF. A CRM activity can be extremely beneficial for both parties as it can open the door to new audiences, boost brand awareness and overall brand perception in the market place. An example of a CRM activity might include '10% of all Product X sales will be donated to SDMF'. Such CRM activities could be run annually or for a selected timeframe, and usually features both brand logos on the packaging.
Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate Sponsorship may include your company sponsoring one of our youth programs, or the sponsorship of a specific project or staff position that requires funding. Please contact us directly to discuss the different types and levels of Corporate Sponsorship.
Pro Bono Support
Pro Bono support is a great way a range of companies can still support SDMF programs, without giving direct financial contributions. Companies can donate their services, staff skills or products to support our fundraising activities.
Support or Sponsorship of SDMF Events
Each year Sir David Martin Foundation runs several events which are only made possible through the support of sponsors. Sponsoring one of our events not only helps us reduce costs and maximise our fundraising, but it can provide your company with a significant marketing opportunity. Depending on the level of your sponsorship, we would promote your company through our networks, website and all event-related collateral and marketing.

Our major annual fundraising event is the Abseil for Youth which sees participants be sponsored by friends and family to abseil off a Sydney skyscraper, with all proceeds going to our major project Triple Care Farm.

Gifts In-Kind
We value the support of products, goods and/or services from both the community and companies which help our youth programs and fundraising efforts. The programs often require an ongoing supply of materials, furniture and equipment so any contribution is greatly appreciated. We also always welcome the donation of prizes to be used in fundraising or product that can be used for events to help lower our costs.
