"How can I access Triple Care Farm?"
Referrals are made from both inner city Sydney and country areas throughout Australia. Referrals to the Farm also come from the Juvenile Justice Department - in particular where there is no family support. The Department of Community Services (DOCS) also refer state wards or youth from broken homes.
An appropriate referral to Triple Care Farm should meet the following guidelines:
1. Aged between 16 and 24
2. Problematic drug and alcohol use
3. Ability to participate in all aspects of the program including developmental, mental and physical capacity.
4. Demonstrate commitment to undertake the program, as assessed at interview
Each clients needs are individually assessed. Referrals are not accepted when Triple Care Farm is unable to meet the clients needs.
