Sir David Martin Foundation - Helping young people in crisis

Commander Anthony Rayner of HMAS Success and his Xo Donna Muller hosted a cocktail party on board HMAS Success for The Sir David Martin Foundation to help raise much needed funds for ‘youth in crisis'.

The ship’s company helped to raise more than $35,000 by hosting a cocktail party for The Sir David Martin Foundation, which runs three programs to help troubled young Australians salvage their lives. Triple Care Farm, Creative Youth Initiates and South West Youth services.

Two hundred guests including Lady Suzie Martin and the chairman of SDMF Mr David Wills attended the fundraiser. Foundation Ambassador John Mangos was MC for the night and Sotheby’s CEO Justin Miller was the auctioneer.

“CMDR Reiner told Navy News that “charity work not only demonstrates the RAN’s engagement with the broader community, but also makes Navy personnel better people”.
