    Property Industry Foundation

The Property Industry Foundation assists organisations like Sir David Martin Foundation providing services to youth at risk. We are very proud of our association with them. They are a significant partner for the Foundation continuing their relationship since 2002.

Property Industry Foundation have had such a close relationship with the Farm that they have built several buildings and even gone so far as to buy farmer Tom a new tractor.  Triple Care Farm has been the prime recipient of their tremendous generosity.  A massive property blitz happened in 2003 & 2005 when we desperately needed it before graduation ceremony.  The annual Chocs for Socks campaign means so much to the young people on the Farm (read a letter from the students at Triple Care Farm). Property Industry Foundation have worked with us in upgrading the Training Centre and the refurbishment of Waratah House.

We are honoured to call them a corporate partner.

  • Shane Rochefort

    Shane Rochefort

Shane Rochefort has been pondering this thought “how can I help kids on the streets in some way, what can I do?” His pondering has now turned into a wonderful idea “Suits for Sir David’s Students”.

Shane realised he had a wealth of support via his customers who are well-dressed businessmen. He is simply asking customers of Rochefort to donate suits they no longer need and he will do the rest… tailoring to fit the young men who are ‘students’ at Triple Care Farm and CYI youth initiatives in Surry Hills. Once they finish their program of rehabilitation and are back on the road to recovery, Shane will help them with their confidence by supplying them with pre-loved suits, many with labels ‘foreign’ to the boys, but loved by both old and new owners. This is in stark contrast to most of the kids who arrive with just a shopping bag of belongings.

Rochefort will suit them up for their Graduation in December and they will also have a suit to wear to job interviews, the ultimate positive culmination of the student’s journey to recovery.
