Artworks! Ball is the main fundraising event for Sir David Martin Foundation. Established in 2005, this event attracts a sell out crowd each year.
ArtWorks! Ball is held at the Art Gallery of New South Wales in conjunction with the Archibald Exhibition. ArtWorks! begins with a private viewing of the Archibald Prize exhibition with an insight provided by Edmund Capon, director of the Gallery. Guests then move into the main room of the Art Gallery to enjoy an evening of fine food and wine, live entertainment from Royal Australian Navy The Admiral's Own Big Band and students from the programs we support. There is also a range of must have auction items and a raffle with prizes donated by various sponsors of the night.
This black tie event attracts around 400 business and community leaders and has become hugely popular for anyone with an interest in art and supporting ones community.
