Art Hop

Art Hop, Be Inspired was a new initiative of the Sir David Martin Foundation, established in 2006. It was conceived with the aim of connecting patrons and donors with artistic and creative expression. Guests are then given an opportunity to purchase affordable art created by students and artists alike.
"Art Hop" takes guests to five leading art galleries and concludes at Sotheby's with a special exhibition of artworks designed exclusively for the evening by local artists, fashion designers and students from Creative Youth Initiatives, which are auctioned on the night by Sotheby’s Australia CEO, Justin Miller. Guests will be able to meet local artists, fashion designers and enjoy wine and canapés.
In 2007 Art Hop was hosted by Catriona Rowntree and raised $27,500 for youth crisis programs.
In 2006 Art Hop raised $21,500 for youth crisis programs.
