Holly Legge Schoarlships Awarded

The Holly Legge Memorial Scholarship Changes Lives
Holly Legge was a talented young graffiti artist who died pursuing her passion for street art. Having completed the Certificate II in Graphic Design at St George TAFE, she was about to commence the Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design at Enmore College when she lost her life. Her parents, Peter and Helen Legge, have established a Scholarship through Sir David Martin Foundation as a memorial to Holly. The purpose of the Holly Legge Scholarship is to help a young disadvantaged student with their expenses while pursuing an arts education.
This year there were 3 successful candidates for the Scholarship -
Jasmine Owen received $600 to buy art supplies and books for her TAFE course, Pascal Bernard Elliot received a $1,000 voucher to go towards purchasing a Mac Computer for his Uni course and Elli Zacharowitz received $2,000 to purchase an SLR Camera, Adobe Suite computer program and a voucher to go towards purchasing the books she requires to complete her TAFE course.
The Holly Legge Scholarship recipients met with Mr and Mrs Legge to express their gratitude and share in the excitement in receiving this substantial financial assistance. The Legge family’s generosity after such a devastating event has made a huge difference in these young people’s lives.
