Edgy, urban and exciting! Creative Conscience breaks the mould of the traditional charity art event
Friday 1st April 2011 sees the launch of a charity art event that breaks the mould and introduces you to a dynamic mixture of art and urban culture.
This will be the first event organised by our HYPE committee, a group of young professionals that give up their time to help organise fundraising events to help support Sir David Martin Foundation.
Creative Conscience is an art based event that combines an eclectic mix of still art and installations, vibrant live performances from visual and musical artists from all over Australia, to raise awareness and funds for young people in crisis.
The event will feature a performance by the acclaimed Sydney a Capella rock choir, Rocktapus, a live graffiti performance by scribla and sprinkles, The founding member of Hoopaholiccs Bunny Hoop Star and much more. All proceeds will go to the Sir David Martin Foundation.
The venue for the event is the Queen Street Studios warehouse complex in Chippendale and kicks off at 6pm. The ticket price of $50 includes drinks, gourmet pies as well as an opportunity to buy many of the works of art on display.
“This is a really fun unique event with some fantastic artists, and also the opportunity to contribute to a worthwhile cause so get in early and don’t miss out!” Fran Wallace
