Sir David Martin Foundation - Helping young people in crisis

Your donation can send one student through Sir David Martin Foundation Scholarship Program – “Back to Work” and “Back to TAFE” packages, the scholarship provides materials for a young person to go back to study or work by giving them opportunities to purchase much needed Items such as; work uniforms, study books and more.

Counselling will assist one young person (12 - 25 years) living in the Macarthur area, with often tragic childhood experiences to identify their goals and overcome certain barriers that may be preventing them from realising their full potential. The average counselling support for one student is approximately 10 sessions.

Entire stay for one young person at Triple Care Farm. This will support the holistic care for one young person at Triple Care Farm for their entire stay. Triple Care Farm is a rehabilitation programme for youth aged 16-24 years. Throughout the year the Farm provides accommodation, support and teaching for approximately 80 young people in crisis. These students are young people who have tried to access services in the community but need more intensive help to break the cycle of negative behaviours which may include multiple offending behaviour, substance abuse, mental health issues, abuse and trauma. Over the students 3 month stay at the Farm, we take the first step in re-building their broken lives, gently helping them to untangle their problems and equipping them with the skills to make a positive change in their lives.
