Whether you are a school, registered club or community group there is always a way that you can help to make a difference to the lives of young Australians. Some of the community friends of Sir David Martin Foundation are:
Let's work together: Community groups may wish to build awareness and morale in their local area by fundraising for the Foundation. If you are interested in organising a fundraising event such as a Fair, Golf Day, Bowls Day or Carols by Candle Light, contact Donna Tunbridge.
Youth Understanding Youth: Your school will have the opportunity to grow with us while increasing your profile within the community, boosting morale of both staff and students and contributing to positive social change. Fetes, stalls and smaller fundraising drives can provide opportunities for students to build an awareness of youth issues.
Speakers from the Foundation as well as from the youth programs are always happy to visit your school to address assembly, P&C committees, smaller class groups or any other gatherings where there is a desire to learn more about our activities and those of the programs that we support.
If you would like to see the effects of your help first hand, we can also arrange for small groups to visit the programs that we support.
If you and your school are interested in helping the Foundation through fetes, stalls and fundraising drives please contact Donna Tunbridge.
Recent fundraising events:
- Trinity Grammer School held a sausage sizzle and raised $250.
Community Awareness: The Foundation welcomes the involvement of Registered Community Clubs. We have been the fortunate recipients of funds from Rotary, Rotaract, Apex and RSL clubs amongst many others. If you would like to find out specific items or projects that require funding at Triple Care Farm or Creative Youth Initiaitives please contact Sarah Hozack or have a look at the Wish List.
Build on your strength: A wide variety of sporting clubs show their support to the Foundation in many ways. Charity golf days and round robin sporting events are great ways for sporting groups to come together for a fun day away from the competitive environment. If you are interested in holding a Golf Day, Lawn Bowls Day or a round robin sporting event please contact Donna Tunbridge.
Previous charity sporting events:
- Naval Golf Association NSW Charity Golf Day raised over $18,000.
