Whilst enjoying the holiday we are given to celebrate Australia Day I reflected on how grateful I am to have the good fortune to be born in this country.

I have found through life that sometimes we are inspired in strange ways. I was at a friends funeral last week and reminded of an analogy that he had given to me when I felt overwhelmed at the time.

I recently read a quote from George Eliot “What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?” and realised this is why I love my job so much. I know that each and every day I am making someone’s live a little less difficult.
With the Global Economic Crisis taking effect, we understand that times are tough for many people and we thank you for continuing to support us. Here at the Foundation we are focusing on meeting the needs of those in desperate need of our services.
